For years we have felt called to church planting. In 2011 our family was released by our home church in Paramount, CA to start a new church in San Pedro, CA. It is there that we began to reach out into the community and share the love of Christ with neighbors and parents from our kids’ school. A church was formed and four years later it is a growing and thriving ministry where disciples continue to be made and released into their God-given mission.

In May of 2015, we were asked by our fellowship, Praise Chapel, if we would consider doing another church plant in the Austin metro area. We met with the network of churches that had been praying for this church to come about. We prayed and sought counsel through which it became clear that God was sending us to Austin to start this new church.

In 2016 we launched Reclaim Church in the Lucas Event Center with a passion to REACH people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

Assistant Pastors  -  Eddie & Monica Montalvo

Our family has been in the Greater Austin area for over 20 years. Coming from a life of instability, a life of brokenness and pain, we went on a search for hope for our future. After starting our relationship with the Lord, we wanted to find community.

In early 2017 we connected with Pastors Angel and Desiree Flores and Reclaim Church. Very quickly we found community, friends, and family. As a family, we got involved serving in various ministries in the house of the Lord. We saw a need and did our best to fill that need. Through it all, we were able to get planted and grow deep roots.

We believe every person has some sort of God given calling over their lives. We’ve always had a love for people. In August of 2021 we were asked to be the Assistant Pastors at Reclaim Church. Today we continue to love God and love people, while living a life pursuing Christ.

YOUTH Pastors - JOSHUA AND DELILAH FLORES

When we met in 2017, we instantly knew that we wanted to get married and get involved in the youth ministry here at Reclaim Church. And in March of 2018 we did just that. We got married and jumped right in to leading the youth ministry. Then, in August of 2019, our pastors, who, we love and absolutely appreciate, asked us to become the youth pastors. Of course we said yes!

Over the years we have seen many students give their lives to Christ, be restored into a relationship with Him, and walk into their God-given purpose empowered by the Holy Spirit. Now, we are blessed to have a youth team that has been built up to take on the lead rolls of different ministries within the youth group.

We are extremely honored and thank God that we get to be used by Him to lead young people to Christ here at Reclaim Church. Our passion for Reclaim Youth grows more and more and we are always ready/excited to see what God is going to do next.
